SAFETY INTERLOCK CIRCUIT

It is recommerded that a Safety Circuit 0il Pressure Switch be used (Part No. A68301). This circuit stops the electric fuel pump should the engine stop without the ignition turned 'Off'. The additional safety warnings of 'low oil pressure' and 'broken oil lines' may also be incorporated.

NOTE: Due to the positive dIsplacement design, the rotary vane pump will not allow a pull-through arrangement and is designed to run while engine is running.

WARNING: Limited life expectancy with methanol. Usage of Methanol voids warranty.

Tuthill High Volume Recirculating Pumps

Self-priming, rotary electric vane pumps for the transfer of diesel oil. They are equipped with self ventilating induction motor with IP 55 protection, class F insulation with thermal cut-out at 160 degrees Celcius located in the winding. By-pass valve is integrated into the pump body. The pump casting is in cast-iron, treated against corrosion and paint-finished; the pump rotor is in sintered steel; the stainless steel filter in incorporated in the pump body.
